Role oF Senior Architecture:
Interlock Construction is seeking an experienced Architect to start our new Architect and Engineering Department. The successful applicant will have a sound knowledge of IT based softwares involved with design and basic engineering. They will be competent in 3D modelling techniques In the physical form as well as be able to express and communicate clearly what the design of the building is trying to achieve.
The successful applicant will be able to operate the system within Interlock including timely use of Email, Drive, Scheduling within Calendar and other G-Suite based functions.
The role will include overseeing and managing the insertion of sub contracted based parties to efficiently and accurately provide designs that cater to our clients needs. You will be in charge of meeting and gaining design and engineering based contracts but will work in tandem with the construction project managers as they redirect potential clients towards signing a design based contract with Interlock.
You will report directly to Managing Director Damphu Ghlan and CEO Nick Abraham. Your first job will be the design and engineering of a 10 story serviced Apartment. You will be responsible for the successful and efficient implementation of getting the design done and will be expected to be dealing directly with the client.

Following the interview process, successful applicants will be contacted and given a 2 week paid trial. This is intended to determine the appropriateness of the candidate to the organisation and vice versa. After this fortnight, a 3 month strict probation period will be undertaken where full professionalism and punctuality will be required. In this period either party is allowed to determine still whether the fit is correct for them.
In the event that the employee is not right for the company and we are not satisfied with the work output, with 2 weeks given notice we reserve the right for fair dismissal with written explanation notice. We expect a professional and hardworking approach but also that you adopt the values and traditions of Nepal and want to keep the work environment as fun but still as productive as possible.
