Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Laboratory Engineer will be responsible for managing laboratory testing, ensuring accurate analysis of materials, and supporting engineering and construction projects through quality testing and reporting. The role ensures compliance with technical standards, quality assurance procedures, and safety guidelines in all laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct material testing (soil, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, etc.) as per standards
Ensure quality control of construction materials used at site
Maintain proper laboratory records, test reports, and documentation
Monitor sampling, testing frequency, and compliance with specifications
Coordinate with site engineers for quality assurance and corrective actions
Ensure calibration and proper use of laboratory equipment
Maintain discipline, safety, and cleanliness in laboratory operations

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Experience Required:

Minimum 2–5 years of experience in construction laboratory/testing field
Experience in infrastructure/road/bridge projects preferred

Job Specifications:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Strong knowledge of material testing standards and procedures
Familiar with lab equipment and reporting formats

Other Requirements:

Detail-oriented and high level of accuracy in reporting
Strong discipline and documentation compliance
Ability to work in project/site conditions
