Consult has partnered with a leading optical equipment manufacturer to empower optometrists and ophthalmologists across APAC. With a patient-first approach, we are searching for a high-performing and results-oriented Key Account Manager to join their growing team.
As the Key Account Manager, you will develop and manage strategic relationships with key optical capital equipment clients. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, exceeding customer expectations, and acting as a trusted advisor throughout the entire customer lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve agreed-upon sales targets and profitability goals for assigned accounts.
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
- Act as a trusted advisor, proactively identifying client needs and recommending solutions from our client's portfolio of optical capital equipment.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact through to proposal generation, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Oversee and manage post-sales activities, ensuring customer satisfaction and maximizing account value.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to understand their evolving needs and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activity to ensure we maintain a competitive advantage.
- Prepare insightful reports on market conditions, customer needs, and competitor activity.
About You:
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience in the optical capital equipment space or a related B2B technology environment.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of the APAC market dynamics and customer needs.
- Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Fluency in English and an additional APAC language ( Mandarin, Japanese, Korean etc.) is a plus.
