Job Overview:
As a Sales Executive in Elites Logistics Pvt. Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and onboarding delivery partners, generating sales leads, and maintaining long-term relationships with clients to ensure high-quality service delivery. You will be responsible for actively seeking out potential leads, presenting our services, and ensuring smooth onboarding and ongoing client satisfaction. This role demands a proactive approach to sales, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the logistics operations and system functionalities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:
- Identify potential clients (delivery partners and vendors) through various channels, including cold calls, online research, networking, and referrals.
- Analyze the client profile based on the company's Client Persona to ensure the right fit for services.
- Conduct physical visits or calls to potential clients to deliver compelling presentations about the company’s services and solutions.
- Convert leads into clients by effectively presenting the value proposition and closing deals.
Client Onboarding & Training:
- Follow the company's formal onboarding process for new delivery partners/vendors, ensuring all documentation and agreements are correctly executed.
- Explain the company's operational mechanism, including how pick-up requests are made, COD clearance processes, and delivery systems.
- Provide comprehensive training to partners on using the company's portals, creating and tracking orders, and managing delivery statuses.
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for newly onboarded clients, ensuring all their queries are addressed promptly.
- Collect feedback from clients regularly to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Foster strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure retention and customer loyalty.
- Proactively follow up with clients every week (on Fridays) to evaluate service adoption, offer additional support, and identify new business opportunities.
Sales Monitoring & Reporting:
- Track sales conversion rates, client onboarding progress, and order volumes, providing regular updates to the Sales Manager and relevant departments (Admin, Accounts, etc.).
- Monitor client order patterns, identify trends, and follow up with clients whose orders have significantly declined or those who have churned.
- Maintain a well-organized and accurate sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and order fulfillment.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Collaborate with the backend and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
- Provide all necessary details to the Admin and Accounts teams, including rate conversion, pick-up details, and account information for accurate billing and record-keeping.
Sales Strategy & Process Improvement:
- Suggest actionable strategies to improve sales figures and streamline the client acquisition process.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance service delivery and reduce client churn through feedback and market research.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, offering insights to improve sales efforts.
Skills & Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Experience:
- 1 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally in the logistics, supply chain, or transportation sectors.
- Proven track record of generating leads, closing sales, and maintaining customer relationships.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques including lead generation, sales presentation, negotiation, closing techniques, and objection handling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- In-depth understanding of the company’s logistics operations, portal usage, and order management system.
- Exceptional active listening skills to understand client needs and respond effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM tools.
