Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Junior MERN Stack Developer in Gandaki, Nepal. As a Junior MERN Stack Developer at SoftUp, you will assist in developing web applications using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack. Your responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, collaborating with senior developers to design and implement new features, participating in code reviews, troubleshooting and debugging applications, contributing to technical documentation, and staying updated with emerging technologies. You will work closely with the design team to ensure an optimal user experience and assist in the testing and deployment of web applications.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Familiarity with React.js, Node.js, and Express.js
• Knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Understanding of RESTful APIs
• Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
