We are now booming as a retailer with 20 retail outlets across Nepal with at least 200-300 staffs working with Sonam. We produce summer wear such as shorts, t-shirts, windcheaters as well as winter wears suchas down jackets, primaloft, fleece jackets.

  • Should be able to draft letters, prepare memo and getting the approvals done.
  • Should also look after the general administrative works and other works as assigned by the company.

Job Description

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with taxation rules, and assisting in administrative tasks. You will work closely with the Finance team and report to senior management to support the financial health and operational efficiency of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keep accurate record for all daily transactions including daily vouchers and daybook.
  • Ensure that all transactions are well documented and recorded and maintain all the books in order.
  • Prepare a profit and loss statement, balance sheet, accounts statements, regular reports on expenses and office budget.
  • Verify each transaction, track bank deposits and payments.
  • Reconciliation of the bank statement/accounts and party ledgers.
  • Preparing payments, budgets, preparing and filing for tax returns, TDS and generating invoice  against them.
  • Ensure that all tax forms are correct and have filed to the concerned authorities on time.
  • Making financial reports and submitting to the management on timely basis.
  • Ensuring the security of financial information and taking regular backups.
  • Instruct Admin staff to manage office supplies and place general orders.
  • Maintain a filing system for company’s documents and maintain confidential documents.
  • Assist Admin staff to maintain a company calendar, holiday calendars and schedule appointments and meetings.
  • Assist Managing Director on regular meetings, assist in preparing meeting minutes.
  • Assist Admin staff to arrange travel and accommodations. Arrange for insurance policies for the staffs, manage events when asked.
