About the job

We are seeking a talented and motivated Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users, as well as developing server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable, and efficient Node.js applications.

Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Implement data storage solutions, including databases and caching mechanisms.

Create and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.

Troubleshoot and debug server-side issues and optimize application performance.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Node.js development.

Participate in code and design reviews to maintain code quality and readability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features and functionalities.

Continuously improve and refactor existing codebase for maintainability and scalability.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Node.js Developer or similar role.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

Experience with modern Node.js frameworks and libraries (e.g., Express.js, Nest.js).

Knowledge of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.

Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, React, Angular, or Vue.js).

Experience with database systems like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.

Version control using Git and GitHub/GitLab.

Knowledge of containerization and cloud platforms (e.g., Docker, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
