Roles and responsibilities of this job

Looking for a Java Backend Developer to help develop a unique temporary staffing platform allowing companies to connect with workers on an ad hoc basis
You need a strong grasp of English, and willing to work remotely with our team in the UK
Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience

Essential Skills

Java 11
Strong understanding of the Spring ecosystem
Strong understanding of Hibernate
Strong understanding of the need and applications of Dependency Injection
Strong understanding of SOLID principles and Clean Architecture
Strong understanding and experience with unit testing (Mockito, JUnit 5, AssertJ)
Strong understanding of authentication and authorization with JWT tokens
Strong understanding of Gradle
Familiarity with Kubernetes
Familiarity with integrating 3rd party vendors
Familiarity with Docker
Familiarity with PostgreSQL and schema migrations (Liquibase)
Familiarity with DDD
Familiarity with integration testing

Desirable Skills

Terraform
Helm/Kustomize
Knowledge of GCP ecosystem
General understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps
General understanding of networking
Instrumentation and monitoring
