Job Description

We are seeking a competent and proactive IT Officer to manage and support the day-to-day IT operations at the college. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the college network, ensuring system security, supporting users, and managing hardware/software resources. This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless digital experience for students, faculties, and administrative staffs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Provide technical support to students, faculty, and staff, both in-person and remotely.
  • Monitor and maintain the college’s IT infrastructure, including internet connectivity, servers, and firewalls.
  • Ensure data security, perform regular system backups, and enforce IT policies.
  • Manage email systems, user accounts, and access control.
  • Assist in managing Learning Management Systems, digital classrooms, and online platforms.
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and recommend upgrades when necessary.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external IT service providers when required.
  • Train staffs and students on using college systems and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Keep records of support requests, system changes, and technical documentation.
