Information Technology Officer is responsible in handling daily technical aspects of the website operations and troubleshooting minor errors and bugs for smoot functioning of the platforms as well as applications. 

SCOPE OF ROLE:

Staff directly reporting to this post: Interns

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Understand, develop and maintain technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
• Keep up with the daily operation requirement of the platform including troubleshooting minor bugs and errors
• Coordinate and communicate for Application development process with the pre-set timeline and requirements
• Discover, implement or recommend new technologies applicable in the ecommerce business that yield competitive advantage
• Identify competitive services and opportunities for innovation
• Supervise/lead system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
• Build quality assurance and data protection processes
• Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
• Planning technical strategy, product roadmaps, resources requirement and technology cost/budget as and when required
• Partner with functional and product management teams to deliver business needs and provide input to the strategic direction of product development, directly influencing the business direction of new and existing products
• Collaborate with the appropriate departments to assess and recommend technologies that support company organizational needs
• Monitor and perform competitor’s analysis and provide suggestions for improvement
• Regular reporting on website performance and customer experience metrics-optimizing site operations, identifying opportunities, and suggesting strategies to achieve sales growth
• Act as point of contact while dealing with external technology based vendor and parties, stay of routine follow-up process and reporting the progress to CEO
