• Manage information technology and computer systems.
• Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
• Manage IT staff by assisting in recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
• Identify problems in areas of IT and implement strategic solutions in time
• Preserve assets, information security and control structures
• Running regular checks on network and data security
• Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
• Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
• Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
• Providing direction for IT team members
• Research and work to develop proper web pages and apps to foster the image and efficiency of the institution.
