IT Engineer

Cedar Gate Services is looking for an IT (Information Technology) Engineer to join our Infrastructure team.

Job Summary:

The IT Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the company’s computer network, monitoring one or more system(s), and supporting the software and hardware requirements. This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The IT Engineer will work as part of the infrastructure team and report to the IT Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• Proactively monitor the cloud infrastructure and solve any issues.
• Research, troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of a problem and communicate it with stakeholders.
• Proactively monitor and implement patch to vulnerable infrastructure based on security guidelines and procedures.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain automation of cloud operation tools.
• Produce and maintain technical documents.
• Improve operations by conducting systems audit and implementing organization-defined policies and procedures within the infrastructure.
