Roles and responsibilities of this job

Rock International is seeking a motivated and technically skilled IT Assistant to support and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, network systems, hardware, software, and user support services. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting abilities and practical experience in network and server administration.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Administer network and data security including directory services, group policies, firewalls, antivirus, and email security
Perform regular data backups to ensure protection of company information
Install, configure, and maintain network systems and upgrades
Configure and maintain wireless networking equipment
Monitor servers, LAN/WAN, and Wi-Fi connectivity to ensure uninterrupted operations
Support implementation and maintenance of software systems and new features
Diagnose and resolve connectivity, hardware, and software issues
Provide technical support through phone, remote access, and on-site assistance
Troubleshoot system and network errors efficiently
Install and configure IT equipment for new employees
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for technology updates and maintenance
Ensure optimal performance and security of all IT resources

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in an Information Technology role

Required Skills & Competencies:

Experience in network administration and server support
Knowledge of hardware, software, system upgrades, and troubleshooting
Familiarity with firewall, antivirus, and security management
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple IT tasks
