  • At least 5 years experience in network and server system support
  • Understanding of multiple communication mediums, PSTN land lines, PABX, LAN, WLAN,
  • Required understanding of TCP/IP communications and have the ability to analyze and troubleshoot connectivity at the packet level
  •  Proficient with Microsoft Windows environments, including operating systems and Office applications and working knowledge of Unix OS.
  • Comfortable in performing all levels of network administration related tasks from running cable to assisting in the construction and relocation of new networks
  • Self-motivated and comfortable operating with limited direct supervision
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work and prioritize well in a fast-paced, dynamic atmosphere, quickly tackling difficult issues with ease.

Job Description

  • Ensure smooth operation of all IT communication systems (both network-connected and stand-alone) including Servers, Workstations, Laptops, Printers, PABX, Leased internet connectivity, LAN, CCTV, and any new IT infrastructure.
  • Researches and resolves IT related issues, identifying root cause before escalating to higher level support.
  • Identifies and resolves user problems and concerns associated with all IT hardware and software within the organization.
  • Co-ordinate with vendors/providers relating to website development and mail system and integration of any new requirements.
  • Receive and resolve user inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
  • Accurately and fully document all troubleshooting and resolution steps for future references
  • Effectively communicate with the upper management with weekly and monthly reporting mechanism and perform additional duties as required.
  • Maintain network configuration documentation.
  • Immediately analyze, troubleshoot, and fix system and network connection issues to minimize down- time.
  • Maintain and record inventory of all IT infrastructure and provide valuable and appropriate inputs on the betterment of the infrastructure.
  • Conduct and assist in providing users with basic training on the use of tools and new technologies.
