Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Assistant professional to join our team. The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient IT operations across the organization. This includes providing technical support, maintaining IT systems, troubleshooting issues, implementing hardware and software solutions, assisting with network administration, and supporting staff with their IT needs.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
Monitor, maintain, and ensure the reliability of IT systems and infrastructure.
Assist in network administration tasks such as configuration, monitoring, and securing LAN/WAN networks.
Conduct software installations, updates, and upgrades as needed.
Implement and maintain hardware components, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other devices.
Track system performance, identify potential issues, and propose timely solutions.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT procedures, system configurations, and support activities.
Collaborate with internal teams to enhance overall IT efficiency and support organizational goals.
Ensure adherence to IT security protocols and proactively work to safeguard systems and data.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent are an advantage
Proficiency in IT Support, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining hardware and software
Network administration skills, including knowledge of LAN/WAN and network security
An understanding of relevant software systems and the ability to perform software installations and upgrades
Problem-solving skills for diagnosing technical issues and proposing effective solutions
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and users
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to ensuring system reliability and security
