• 3+ years of hands-on Android experience in a professional environment
• Proficient with Objective-C or Swift {{depending on project requirements}}, and Cocoa Touch
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
• Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred
• Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools {{such as Instruments and Shark, depending on project needs}}
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, Mercurial or SVN}}
• Familiarity with continuous integration

For Android:

• 3+ years of hands-on Android experience in a professional environment
• Experience with the Android SDK and Framework
• Experience building complex native Android mobile applications
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
• Ability to complete work following engineering standards and best practices
• Develops clean, elegant, well-commented and reusable code which is easy to maintain and extend
• Ability to debug programs and assist team members overcome technical problems
• Ability to work alongside creative for implementation of UI/UX features
• REST API integrations using Volley (Android)
• Experience with Git, JSON, OAuth2, Volley, Gradles
• Ability to operate in Agile / Scrum development environments
• Experience with threaded / asynchronous environments
