Position overview: 

The Inventory  Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services for Navata Pharmacy. The role involves managing the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management. The  Inventory Officer will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide effective procurement solutions to support the smooth operations of the organization.

Key roles: 

• Inventory management and control 
• Stock reconciliation and analysis 
• Demand forecasting and planning Ordering and replenishment coordination 
• Supplier coordination and relationship management 
• Data management and reporting Collaboration with internal teams for inventory optimization 
• Quality control and compliance

Qualifications: 

• Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory management or related roles, preferably in a retail or healthcare setting.
• Inventory expertise: Solid understanding of inventory management principles, processes, and best practices. 
• Data analysis skills: Proficient in analyzing inventory data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions. 
• Supply chain knowledge: Familiarity with supply chain processes, demand forecasting, and order management. 
• Attention to detail: Strong organizational and meticulousness skills to ensure accurate inventory records. 
• Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. 
• IT skills: Proficiency in using inventory management software, MS Excel, and other relevant applications.

Duty Station: Sanepa, Lalitpur with occasional travel as required for supplier visits and industry events.
