Job Description:

• Serves as a mentor and subject matter expert to staff. Provide technical assistance and guides staff in various inventory functions. Cultivates strong working relationship with suppliers, and staff as a whole.
• May be tasked with representing inventory office as the liaison and subject matter expert when interacting with maintenance and other agency Departments. Orders and receives inventory in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local requirement. Research and purchases unusual or hard to find goods and services at best value (price vs. Quantity vs. warranty vs. Delivery). Works on special projects or maintenance campaigns. Collect and evaluates specific data on required specification. Resources and evaluates best- value (price vs. Quantity vs. warranty vs. Delivery)
• Coordinates distribution of parts for staff. Stocks, maintains and organizes inventory area. Assists with scheduled cycle of inventory counts.
• Analyzes usage trends, Sets stock re-stock levels and minimum/maximum stock levels. Reconciles losses and gain from differences in inventory audits to maintain inventory within acceptable limits. Advises and coordinates with supervisor in implementing efficient and cost- effective inventory best practices.
• Maintains details and complete purchasing records of inventory, equipment, shipments, and costs. Reviews Maintenance and facility works orders to ensure all parts are reconciled correctly within the system. Designs and creates inventory reports as needed.
• Maintains Centralized shipping and receiving area. Coordinates all receiving, entering information in the centralized system. Unloads freight with forklift.
• Contacts vendors and resolves inconsistencies in pricings, core changes, restocking charges, receipts, Delivery charges, warranties and quality issues with vendors. Pursues monitors, troubleshoots and expedites new item warranty claims as needed.
• Utilized eCommerce analytics tools and draw meaningful insights and improve inventory decisions.
• Monitor customer feedback and implement necessary changes to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement new tracking and management process related to inventory optimization.
• Provide insights and solutions to any inventory and logistics challenges that may arise.
