Roles and responsibilities of this job

The International Ticketing Expert is responsible for managing airline ticketing operations for both domestic and international travel. The role requires an experienced professional with in-depth knowledge of global airline systems, fare rules, and ticketing procedures. The candidate will handle bookings, reservations, and ticket issuance, ensuring timely and cost-effective travel solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage international flight reservations, ticketing, and itinerary preparation for clients.
Provide expert advice on flight options, fares, routes, and airline policies.
Issue tickets using global distribution systems (GDS) and ensure accuracy in all bookings.
Coordinate with travel agents, airlines, and clients to confirm bookings and handle changes or cancellations.
Monitor flight schedules and travel updates to proactively inform clients of changes.
Ensure compliance with airline rules, fare regulations, and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of tickets issued, changes, and cancellations.
Handle client inquiries and resolve ticketing-related issues professionally.
Liaise with sales, outbound, and inbound teams to support tour and travel operations.
Stay updated on international travel trends, airline promotions, and fare structures.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or related field (preferred)
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in international ticketing or airline reservation

Skills & Attributes:

Proficiency in global distribution systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of international airlines, routes, and fare structures
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and handle bookings under pressure
Attention to detail and problem-solving capability
Professional demeanor and client-oriented mindset

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Sunday to Friday)
Salary: The salary will be negotiable according to experience.
Other Facilities: Other facilities will be discussed in person at the time of the interview.
