Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for an experienced Interior Site Supervisor to manage and supervise interior construction works, with a strong focus on furniture and carpentry works. The candidate should be capable of guiding carpenters effectively, coordinating with the head office for procurement, and working closely with designers to resolve design-related issues on site.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day interior construction activities, primarily furniture and carpentry works.
Guide, instruct, and monitor carpenters and site workers to ensure quality workmanship and timely execution.
Ensure all works are carried out as per approved drawings, designs, and specifications.
Coordinate with the head office for material requirements, procurement, and delivery schedules.
Liaise with interior designers to clarify drawings, resolve design issues, and implement changes at site.
Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed within project timelines.
Check material quality and ensure proper usage to minimize wastage.
Maintain site discipline, safety standards, and cleanliness.
Report daily progress, issues, and requirements to project managers or head office.
Identify and resolve on-site challenges related to execution, design, or materials.

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in interior site supervision, with strong exposure to furniture and carpentry works.
Sound knowledge of interior construction methods, materials, finishes, and carpentry detailing.
Proven ability to guide and supervise carpenters and site workers effectively.
Strong understanding of drawings, shop drawings, and design specifications.
Excellent coordination and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet tight project deadlines.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle on-site challenges independently.
Knowledge of site safety standards and quality control practices.
