House of Interiors (HOI) is an established interior design, furniture manufacturing and turnkey interior fit-out company, with more than two decades of experience in Nepal. We are looking for a creative, talented and motivated Interior Designer / Architect to join our team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

Develop creative interior design concepts and design proposals.
Prepare space layouts, furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans and interior details.
Prepare accurate working drawings and construction details.
Develop client presentations, material selections and design documentation.
Coordinate with the design team and other professionals involved in projects.
Review and supervise design work prepared by other designers and provide necessary corrections and improvements.
Coordinate with the Principal Architect / Senior Designer for review and approval of designs.
Coordinate with the project and production teams to ensure that designs are practical and suitable for execution.
Ensure that design assignments are completed within agreed project timelines.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
Practical experience in interior design / architectural design.
Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp.
Knowledge of 3D modelling and rendering software will be an advantage.
Good understanding of interior materials, furniture, finishes, joinery and construction detailing.
Strong creative ability and good design sense.
Ability to understand client requirements and convert them into practical design solutions.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team.
Professional attitude, responsibility and commitment to project deadlines are essential.
