Job Description

Responsible to : Deputy General Manager (Service) through IT Division Chief

Purpose of the job:
Efficient management of bank's IT functions that will help the bank gear and run quality information system for day-to -day and strategic decision making

Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures including those for entire architecture of Core Banking System (CBS), information Security, Disaster Recovery, Standards, Purchasing and Service Provision.
Assess existing Temenos 24 CBS and recommend for up- gradation or other solutions if any
Assess existing Jbase CBS database and recommend for appropriate system
Ensure optimal utilization of Servers, Communication Equipment, Information Security, Hardware and other accessories for their up-gradation, replacement including warranty
Advise and develop procedures to help protect IT Infrastructure and Data Information from various attacks
Develop Customization/Parameterization of existing modules of Temenos 24 System in accordance with need of ADBL with proper software engineering principle
Develop and implement Card Management System, Internet Banking, SMS Banking, Utility Payment System as per business requirement
Propose and implement international best banking practices in CBS wherever, possible by interaction with ADBL management
Design various Management Decision Reporting system to enforce Business Intelligence from CBS
Prepare internal Control Framework to secure CBS operation
Help IT Division to formulate AMC Contract, Vendor Negotiation and Develop Service Level Agreement
Research, plan and assist in the installation of new or upgraded IT needs and requirement
Communicate regularly with management, IT Division & end users and also provide feedback on IT needs
Ensure development of alternative manpower (Successor) by providing required orientation, training and documentation
