Job Description

MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and develop data and information management tools and dissemination plans and implement (eg, summary reports, graphs and maps) in coordination with Team Leader;
  • Implements, updates and maintenance of databases in coordination with project team and partners;
  • Systemise and manage key external/internal data useful for the programme and reporting;
  • Institute reporting tracking systems, coordinate and compile reporting from Project Team (WASH offices, APHEs and APHPs) on projects achievement to feed into the district project-level reporting;
  • Compile weekly, monthly numeric achievements and ensure reporting submitted to Team leader on time and to high standard;
  • Support for project performance monitoring and evaluation process;
  • Communicate with staff and external contacts to support the programme information needs;

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification with Minimum of 2 years of professional working experiences in information management, monitoring, evaluation and reporting system (preferably in WASH sector).
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of data collection, entry, and utilization of information, monitoring and evaluation including its sharing to relevant stakeholders.
  • He/she must have good computer (MS Excel, SPSS, GIS) and reporting skills, report writing and communication skills.
