Vacancy Announcement: InCharge-Finance and Administration

Himalayan Securities Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Himalayan Bank Limited and a Full-Service Brokerage Firm, is seeking applications from dynamic, and self-motivated individuals for the role of Incharge-Finance and Administration.

Department: Finance and Administration
Reports to: Chief of Business and Operations
Work Location: Himalayan Securities Limited, Corporate Office

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to the management, regulators, and other stakeholders.
  • Frame policies, byelaws, and SOPs to ensure proper internal control, corporate governance, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure proper management of the firm’s human capital including succession planning, procurement functions, and other applicable functions of the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting, taxation, and company laws.
  • Frame organization budget in coordination with Chief of Business and Operations and ensure proper implementation and monitoring of the same.
  • Frame internal management information systems that provide relevant and timely information for management decision making.
  • Oversee utilization of resources of the organization and make recommendations that maximize the financial returns from the same.
  • Overseeing trades, settlements, reconciliation and cashflow management of the firm’s transactions.

Core Activities

  • Ensure financial reporting of the organization to internal and external stakeholders ensuring compliance requirements.
  • Frame management information systems and internal control systems of the organization.

Education and Preferred Experience Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound regulatory and legal knowledge.
  • Strong integrity, innovation, and intuitive skills.
  • Team Player, Result Oriented, and self-driven with a positive outlook.
  • Minimum Qualification of CA/ACCA from a recognized institution. Master’s degree in Finance/Accounts would be an added advantage.
  • 3 years of relevant experience in a similar function.

Salary and Benefits

The Annual Cost to Company (ACTC) for this position will range between NPR 610,000 and NPR 1,209,000. A successful candidate’s pay may fall within this range, actual pay will be based on the candidates’ qualifications, specific skills, and experience. The Benefits associated with the position are as below:

  • Allowances: General Allowance, Communication Allowance, Fuel Allowance, Festive Allowance and Force Leave Allowance.
  • Insurance: Medical and Accidental Insurance, Life Insurance under Endowment Scheme and Critical Illness Coverage.
  • Others: Leaves, Retirement Benefits and Bonuses as per Labor Act.
