Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager with strong exposure to the IT industry to lead our HR functions and drive people initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of HR operations, from recruitment and performance management to employee engagement and compliance.

This role requires someone who understands the unique needs of an IT workforce which includes technical recruitment, project based staffing, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Job Description:

As an HR Manager in our IT organization, your key responsibilities will include: 

Human Resources Management:

  • Oversee and manage the full spectrum of HR activities ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and IT industry standards.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures that support a high performing and tech-driven culture.
  • Ensure compliance with Nepal labor laws, company policies, and IT related employment practices.
  • Provide strategic HR support for workforce planning, talent management, and leadership development.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to the HR/Admin Officer in executing daily HR and administrative operations.

Technical Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for technical and non technical roles including Developers, Engineers, Designers, and Project Managers.
  • Collaborate closely with department leads to understand technical skill requirements and hiring priorities.
  • Oversee job postings, candidate sourcing, and initial HR screenings to assess and shortlist qualified IT candidates for interviews.
  • Manage onboarding, orientation, and induction for new hires ensuring smooth integration into teams.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical or hard-to-fill IT roles.

Day-to-Day HR Operations:

  • Maintain employee records, attendance, and leave management systems.
  • Coordinate payroll data and ensure timely, accurate submissions.
  • Manage HR information systems (HRIS) and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.

Performance Management & Employee Development:

  • Drive the performance appraisal process and support team leads in setting and evaluating goals.
  • Identify training needs in technical and soft skill areas and coordinate learning programs.
  • Support career progression through structured development paths (Associate, Mid, Senior, Lead, Architect).

Employee Relations and Engagement:

  • Promote a positive and inclusive work culture that encourages collaboration and innovation.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances with fairness and discretion.
  • Plan engagement, recognition, and wellness programs that enhance morale and retention.

Compliance and HR Analytics:

  • Ensure compliance with all labor regulations and company policies.
  • Generate reports and insights on HR metrics, attrition, and workforce trends.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and support data-driven HR planning.
  • Assist in audits and organizational reviews as required.
