About the job

Sky Broadband is seeking a dynamic and motivated HR Officer with at least one year of experience to join our Human Resources team. The HR Officer will support the HR department in various functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR practices and a passion for contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring processes.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and a positive first impression of the company.
  • Prepare and distribute new employee orientation materials.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related issues.
  • Assist in resolving employee conflicts and grievances in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives and activities.
  • Support the performance appraisal process, including tracking employee performance and facilitating performance review meetings.
  • Assist in identifying training and development needs and coordinating relevant programs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of HR reports and documentation.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as preparing HR documents, processing payroll, and managing employee benefits.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the Senior HR Officer in various projects and initiatives as needed.

Job Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an HR role.
  • Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
