Present in Nepal since 2000, HI works through a network of local partner organizations in the area of health and physical rehabilitation, inclusive education and resilience including emergency response to improve the living conditions and involvement of the most vulnerable populations in Nepal.

Location: Kathmandu

About Position:

As a member of HR and Admin Department, the incumbent is expected to be a team player who can add value to the operational side of the department. The candidate reports directly to HR and Admin Manager. Contract period will be for one year initially.

 Job Description: 

  • Collate the trainings and seminars taken by each team member and keep the updated record of the same
  • Prepare a summary of skills and competencies of each team member so as to utilize for future openings
  • Keep updated record of the team members whose contracts are ended with HI Nepal so as to keep them in talent pool for future openings to check relevance with opening positions
  • Assist the HR and Admin. Manager in creating various HR tools and templates for smooth functioning of the Human resource functions
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Manager as and when needed

Job Specification: 

  • Candidate having a qualification of MBA in HR will be highly preferred with at least one years of experience in HR or a Bachelor’s degree in Management with 2 years of experience in HR
  • Good knowledge of HR functions and its role in organization is a must along with hands on skills of implementing HR functions
  • A humble person by nature along with team spirit and ability to work under pressure and in short deadlines
