Roles and responsibilities of this job

The HR Officer will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's human resource functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, payroll coordination, policy administration, employee relations, training, and compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills to support the company's workforce and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding:

Coordinate recruitment activities including job posting, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding.
Prepare appointment letters, employment contracts, and employee joining documentation.
Conduct employee induction and orientation programs.

HR Administration & Employee Records:

Maintain accurate employee records, attendance, leave records, and personnel files.
Manage HR databases and employee documentation.
Process leave applications and attendance records.

Payroll & Benefits Administration:

Coordinate monthly payroll preparation and processing.
Prepare salary sheets, TDS calculations, and SSF contribution records.
Manage employee benefits, reimbursements, and allowances.

Policy, Compliance & Employee Relations:

Ensure compliance with Labour Act 2074, SSF regulations, and company policies.
Assist in drafting and updating HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and exit formalities.
Coordinate with government offices and regulatory authorities when required.

Training & Performance Management:

Coordinate training programs and employee development initiatives.
Support performance appraisal and employee evaluation processes.
Maintain training records and monitor training effectiveness.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA) or equivalent from a recognized university.
Specialization in Human Resource Management will be an added advantage.

Experience:

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Human Resource Management or a related field.
Experience in a manufacturing company, pharmaceutical industry, or corporate environment will be preferred.

Other Requirements:

Good knowledge of Nepal Labour Act 2074, Social Security Fund (SSF), and payroll-related regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with HRIS and payroll software will be an added advantage.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
