Requirements and Skills: 

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or business administration. 
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in the HR field 
  • Strong Knowledge of HR functions (Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment, HR best practices, industry trends) 
  • Advanced MS Excel skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Should be a team player. 
  • Knowledge of Nepal Labor Law 
  • Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.

Job Description

1. HR Administration: 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance. 
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to support decision-making. 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in employment legislation. 
  • Create, update, and implement organization level HR policies. 
  • Employee onboarding. 
  • Managing exit procedure.

2. Talent Acquisition: 

  • Lead the recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent. 
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop effective hiring strategies. 
  • Conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and make recommendations for hiring decisions

3. Employee Relations: 

  • Act as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and resolution. 
  • Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. 
  • Mediate and resolve conflicts, promoting a positive workplace culture. 

4. Performance Management: 

  • Oversee the performance management process, providing guidance to managers and employees. 
  • Conduct performance reviews and assist in the development of performance improvement plans. 
  • Collaborate with management to identify and address training and development needs. 

5. Benefits Administration: 

  • Manage and oversee the accurate processing of employee payroll on a timely basis, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and tax regulations. This includes calculating salaries, bonuses, deductions, and handling payroll inquiries. 
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, SSF, CIT plans, and others. 
  • Communicate benefits information to employees and assist with any related inquiries. 
  • Tax incentive research and Strategy 

6. Training and Development: 

  • Identify training needs and coordinate the development of training programs. 
  • Facilitate workshops or training sessions as needed to enhance employee skills and knowledge. 
  • Team Building/outing and office event management including planning and budgeting.  

7. Legal Compliance: 

  • Ensure compliance with Nepal's labor laws and regulations, updating policies as necessary. 
  • Advise management on legal and regulatory issues related to HR matters.
