We are seeking a motivated and dynamic HR Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing HR functions, supporting employee engagement, and contributing to the overall growth of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Salary and Other Compensation & Benefits Disbursement:
- Ensure accurate and timely disbursement of salaries in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
- Ensure timely disbursement of compensation and benefits for employees in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
- Manage the company’s compliance with Labour Laws, Social Security Fund (SSF) and Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) regulations, ensuring timely and accurate filing and payments.
2. Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Time to Hire: Manage the recruitment process to ensure vacancies are filled promptly.
- Onboarding Procedures: Oversee the onboarding of new employees, ensuring seamless integration into the organization.
- Staff Profiling and Contracts: Manage employee records, ensuring all contracts and documents are compliant and up to date.
3. HR Activities:
- Plan and execute HR activities as per the Annual Operating Plan, ensuring activities stay within the allocated budget.
- Support all department heads in executing HR initiatives that align with operational goals.
- In-house Training: Develop and implement a training calendar in coordination with department heads, ensuring continuous employee development.
- External Training: Identify external training opportunities, organize and finalize trainings.
4. Performance Appraisal, Talent management and KPI Management
- Conduct performance appraisals and evaluate employee performance on a regular basis.
- Plan for talent management, succession planning, and growth.
- KPI Management: Establish and update KPIs and oversee the verification, updating, and release of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and enhance employee performance.
5. HR Policies
- Develop, update, and maintain all HR policies in alignment with legal standards and organizational requirements. Establish clear policies and develop proper handbook.
- Ensure the proper implementation of approved HR policies across the organization and that policies are well communicated and consistently applied.
6. Manage Employees
- Design and administer employee satisfaction surveys to gather feedback on workplace conditions and culture.
- Analyze survey results and implement actions to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
- Plan and execute initiatives to boost employee morale and engagement.
- Managing interpersonal conflicts and grievances.
- Promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Ensuring good communication between employees and management.
7. HRD Budget and Planning
- Prepare and manage the Human Resource Development (HRD) budget in coordination with the executive team, ensuring HR activities are adequately funded and aligned with business objectives.
8. Exit Documentation and Formalities:
- Conduct an exit interview to gather feedback
and document reasons for retirement.
- Complete any legal and administrative
requirements such as final pay settlements, handing over of responsibilities,
and documentation for taxes.
- Ensure a smooth transition by managing the
handover of duties and responsibilities to a successor or colleagues.
