SG Design Nepal is a fast-growing engineering and BIM outsourcing firm delivering HVAC and MEP design services for Australian projects. We are committed to building strong local talent, sustainable growth, and world-class delivery standards.

Team Size: 80–90 staff (scaling to 100+)

Role Objective

We are seeking a strategic and people-focused HR Manager to manage, retain, and develop a growing team of engineers, BIM modelers, and project professionals while ensuring compliance, performance, and a healthy work culture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Workforce Planning

Plan and execute manpower requirements aligned with project pipeline
Manage end-to-end recruitment (interns to senior roles)
Lead internship and campus hiring programs

2. Performance Management

Design and implement KPI-based appraisal systems
Support Project Managers with performance reviews and PIPs
Drive accountability and performance culture

3. Employee Retention & Engagement

Develop retention strategies to reduce attrition
Design career paths and growth frameworks
Conduct engagement programs and employee feedback sessions

4. Learning & Development

Identify skill gaps beyond technical training
Design leadership, communication, and management training
Support mid-level manager development

5. HR Policies & Compliance

Ensure compliance with Nepal Labor Act & SSF
Maintain HR policies, disciplinary processes, and documentation
Handle grievances and conflict resolution professionally

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 4 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in HRM / Management / Business / Psychology
Master’s degree preferred (MBA / MBS / MA HRM)
4–6+ years HR experience, including 2–3 years in a managerial role
Experience managing 50+ employees (engineering / IT / BPO preferred)

Strong leadership and communication skills

Data-driven decision-making
Hands-on experience with HRMS, Excel, attendance & payroll coordination
