ROLE PURPOSE:
Human Resource Coordinator is responsible to ensure adequate support is provided for all HR functions (e.g. recruitment, onboarding, induction, staff leave management/record, medical insurance facilitation, maintaining personal files, facilitating capacity building, Performance management, policy, compliance and consultancy hiring) for Global Fund Project.

The position holder will have information related to staffs record of Global fund staffs based at Country Office and Government Project Offices and will be the first point of contact for queries related to HR and personnel administration for the Global fund team. S/he will be responsible to maintain accuracy and confidentiality of documents and information, correspondence with employees, arranging/organising all HR related functions under the Global fund project. In addition, s/he will also be required to amend staff’s leave, review timesheet and ensure all records are accurately and timely updated for audit purpose.

SCOPE OF ROLE:
Reports to: Sr. HR Manager

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

In coordination with GF team be involved in HR planning and restructuring.
Be involved in recruitment, appointments, on boarding, induction, tracking probation and performances of the staff
Facilitate performance management process, training and capacity building programmes, staff wellness
Work closely with CO HR team to implement HR systems, policy and practice in key HR areas
Provide a generalist HR service to the Global fund project on HR issues and ensure compliance
In coordination with Sr. HR Manager, handle and/ or refer on complex people management issues and handle the grievances of the
staffs under Global fund management
Monitor the impact and effectiveness of HR management interventions and advise for policy reviews
Maintain HR information systems and update regularly
In coordination with T&D Officer, organize staff induction, orientations for project staff. Facilitate training opportunities for staff
Make use of all available policy, practice, checklists and guidelines (HR minimum standards, emergencies HR toolkits) and ensure Save the Children good practice is in place
Orient all Global Fund staffs on HR policies, practices, checklist and guidelines.
Manages consultancy process, ensure the compliance of policy in consultancy hiring, orient staff on consultancy policy and procedures.
Supporting Save the Children’s dual mandate of development programmes as well as being the leader in emergency preparedness and response for children
Work closely with DCOP, Project Managers-Global Fund and relevant Government Administrative Officer at Global Fund project offices for HIV, TB and Malaria (NCASC, NTC and EDCD) for deputed staff related HR issues.
Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures for Save the Children deputed staff at Government project offices.
Ensure that deputed staffs have access to HR/administrative related forms/formats in ELTMIS.
Support Sr. Manager in Payroll management of Global fund team
Update all records of Global fund team both in hardcopy and electronically
Ensure timesheet are submitted on time and as per the required standard. Provide support to staffs in amending leave, attendance etc.
HR related Monitoring and supportive visits to project offices as per the need.
Support HR team to manage other HR functions as and when required

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor must (Master’s Degree in relevant development fields- preferred)
Total work experience 5 and at least 3 years of relevant experience

Good writing skill both in English and Nepali
Ability to work under pressure and adjust to difficult living and working condition
