Role overview

To support the country office human resource function, providing guidance and support to volunteers and staff within the country.

Skills, qualifications and experience required

  • 3 years of working experience in similar position preferably in an international NGO with Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management.
  • Knowledge of country employment laws. Experience of using Human Resources information systems and running a range of reports. Understanding and commitment to data protection and equality and diversity issues.
  • Ability to support others. Demonstrable commitment to delivering excellent
  • Experience of working with different cultures and backgrounds.
  • Understanding of the role volunteering in country
  • To adapt to new situations, with a positive attitude to working in an international organization. Able to travel occasionally.
  • Problem Solving.
  • Commitment to VSO values.
  • Experience working with international NGO.
  • Experience of working with Volunteers.
