Reliance Paper Mills P. Ltd. was established in 1995 in Semari, Bhairahawa to produce Kraft Paper with an installed capacity of 7,500 MT annually, which was later upgraded to 30,000 MT, annually in 2017.

In the year 2008, asecond line was established producing Writing and Printing Paper with an installed capacity of 7,500 MT, annually.

Currently the company produces various grades of Kraft, Writing, and Printing paper. The plant caters to the local Nepalese market and exports its product to India. The basic raw materials such as waste paper, wheat husk, rice husk, and bagasse are sourced from local suppliers. The company takes its environmental responsibility seriously, thus primarily uses waste paper to manufacture its goods. The company has been instrumental in reducing the import of paper from foreign countries.

The company takes pride in being the largest paper mill in the country

Position covers the following Group companies Reliance Paper Mills, Varun International, Orbit International and any other Company incorporated by the Directors in the future.

Job Specification

Education Level : Bachelor

Other Specification
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field from a reputed University
  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience in HR and Administration in a reputed company, handling at least 50 employees
  • Must have good knowledge of implementing HR Systems
  • Must have sound knowledge of HR Software’s and MS Office
  • Must have sound knowledge of relevant acts, laws and regulations and statutory taxes applicable in the country. Must be able to keep up to date with any changes in the above
  • Must be energetic, resourceful, willing to learn and participate in company affairs, and be a strong team player
  • Should have good interpersonal and communication skills and must be patient in dealing with employees
  • Should have excellent planning, organizational, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Must be proficient in the use of English and Nepali language – both spoken and written
  • Should have a valid driver’s license and must own a two-wheeler

Offered Gross Salary:  Rs. 50,000-60,000/- per month including PF, Gratuity and allowances depending on competency


Job Description

Job Overview: 

To oversee the human resources management and administration of the Company which includes conducting job analysis, recruitment, selection, training, appraisal and maintaining reward system of the Company.

Responsibilities: 

  • Developing HR Plans and Policies of the Company as per current acts, laws, and regulations
  • Developing employee KPIs in coordination with Management and tracking employee performance against them
  • Coordinating and overseeing the performance review process
  • Preparing the job description for each job position
  • Recruitment and selection of employees in a time-bound manner as per organizational requirements
  • Developing and implementing the reward | compensation system for employees
  • Preparing employment contracts
  • Maintaining and updating personal records of employees
  • Maintaining leave and attendance records
  • Prepare the Salary Sheet each month using the Payroll Software every month
  • Ensuring employee salaries are paid out in a timely manner
  • Handling employee grievance in a timely manner and resolving them satisfactorily
  • Identifying training requirements, developing training programs to ensure constant learning and development of employees
  • Establishing a proper organizational structure
  • Maintaining harmonious employee-employee relations and cordial work environment
  • Preparing HR Reports in a timely manner as requested by Company Management
  • Management of any and all administration issues or requirements concerning the Head Office operations and getting them addressed in a timely manner with the support of Management Team
  • Other duties considered reasonable in line with the position and in the normal course of business
