Okhaldhunga Community Hospital (OCH) is a project of United Mission to Nepal. This 50-bed hospital is a general hospital providing affordable quality and cost-effective health care to the people of Okhaldhunga and the surrounding region. 

Location: Okhaldhunga Based

We are looking for a competent and dynamic person for the post of Hospital Director who will be responsible for providing overall leadership for the executive management, administration, strategic direction and planning of the hospital. S/he will be the liaison person with the Government of Nepal, community leaders, other local NGOs/INGOs at the local level and with UMN Hospital Services Office (HSO) at UMN Headquarters

Qualification & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Hospital Management
  • At least three years’ experience in hospital  management
  • Or Post Graduate diploma in Hospital Management with at least five years’ experience in  relevant field
  • Or MD/MS with degree/Diploma in Hospital Management with one year’s experience of  working in hospital at the leadership level
  • Sound knowledge in planning, budgeting, evaluation and reporting
  • Experience in financial management and accounting systems would be an added asset
  • Sound knowledge in proposal writing, reporting and in donor relation
  • Excellent language and communication skills in both English and Nepali
  • Ability to work in demanding work and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and multiethnic environment
  • Good knowledge about government policies
  • Computer skills - Word, Excel, Power Point and Database management
  • Age 30-55 years
