Job Overview:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to medical staff, including nurses, health assistant, CMA and other healthcare professionals.
  • Build a reporting system to collect data and report on a daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annually, and annually basis, analyze the information, and present the findings to the supervisor and board.
  • Prepare Key Performance Indicators (KPI), implement them, and oversee the day-to-day activities of medical personnel.
  • Conduct and participate in daily, weekly monthly, semi-annually, annually and emergency meeting of health person as per the requirement.
  • Recruit, train, and conduct performance evaluations for medical staff periodically and as per the requirements of the Ashram.
  • Schedule and assign duties to medical personnel to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Address any performance related issues, provide constructive feedback and monitor progress.
  • Ensure that medical staff adhere to all relevant healthcare code of ethics, rules, regulations and standards of Manavsewa Ashram
  • Provide direct medical support to the ashram medical staff at the Manavsewa Ashram shelter.
  • Conduct regular audits to assess and improve the quality of healthcare services.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among different departments within the Ashram
  • Monitor and evaluate rescued individual and children care procedures to ensure they align with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Assist in the development and management of budgets for the medical department.
  • Ensure efficient use of resources and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Facilitate ongoing training and professional development opportunities for medical staff.
  • Keep staff updated on industry best practices and advancements in healthcare.
  • Prepare medical-related proposals and submit them to the concerned stakeholders for medical resource collection and identification.
  • Provide counselling service to rescued individual and children and staff as per the need.
  • Proactively initiate and lead fundraising efforts for the health department to secure resources and sustain vital health programs
  • Develop policies and operational procedures for the health department in alignment with Manavsewa Ashram & standard guidelines to optimize desired outcomes.
  • Provide regular updates on tasks, progress, and future planning details on a daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual basis to the board and immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master degree in healthcare administration, nursing, health assistant with public health
  • Relevant 5 years of experience in healthcare management or supervisory roles.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • License registration from Nepal Medical Council.
