Job Description

HI Manager will work closely with the Swachchhata team to plan, supervise, monitor, and implement Infection Prevention (IP), Provider Behavior Change Communication, Community behavior change communication (BCC) and gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) activities. This position will coordinate activities as stated in the work plan in close collaboration with the Swachchhata team, government stakeholders, HFOMC, HFs and beneficiaries. S/he will guide, train and mentor team members, service providers and relevant stakeholders. This full-time position reports to the Chief of Party. 

Qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree in Public Health or a related field with minimum of seven years’ experience working in a development organization in public health and/or the WASH sector (experience in public health and USAID funded projects is desirable)
  • Proven experience in facilitating trainings, developing capacity building tools and information materials related to infection prevention and providers behavior change communication
  • Technical understanding and experience leading BCC and GESI project interventions, preferably on improving health through hygiene
  • Ability to work in a team and coordinate and prioritize tasks. Strong English and Nepali written and spoken skills
