  • At least five years of working experience in health/public health communications or journalism focusing on health.
  • Demonstrated experience of dealing with multiple partners, beneficiaries and stakeholders and the ability to manage project activities.

  • Target oriented, proactive and flexible approach.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Nepali and English.
  • Work in close coordination with team members.
  • Competent IT skills, including MSWord, MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint

Job Description

  • Collect internal and external information in order to organize the campaign and design appropriate documents and materials.
  • Lead on the implementation activities of the project focusing on senior citizen (e.g. organizing meetings, advocacy tours, parliamentary delegations, events etc.), in close coordination with other staff, and donor agencies.
  • Develop and refine strategic goals and objectives for the concerned activities of the project.
  • Develop good quality project reports including documentation of good practices, case stories.
  • Compile and produce draft periodic reports especially in relation to the health and advocacy aspects of the project.
  • Overall project planning and follow up and regular monitoring plans.
  • Develop quality annual monitoring plan and system for Health and advocacy in coordination with colleagues.
  • Field data and information gather as an according to M&E tools in reference of conducted events and action plans and photographs. And develop the analytical reports and submit to the authority and donor agencies on time.
  • Coordination and liaison between partners, government, private sectors and other civil society organizations in relation to health aspects.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Working with the government sector to support senior citizen and ensure that they are able to get proper health facilities
  • Will act as the lead contact between the program and the District authorities
  • Will maintain a good and close working relationship with the government agencies Officer as well as District Coordinator of the project
  • Ensure all communications and visibility requirements of the project/donor are adhered to.

Duration: 1 year
