NIMB Ace Capital Limited, a leading investment management company licensed by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead its Research Department. The Head of Research will play a critical role in driving informed investment decisions and developing strategic insights to support the company’s growth and innovation in capital markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the research team in conducting comprehensive analysis of capital markets, economic trends, industries, and listed companies.
Develop and publish high-quality research reports, market commentaries, and investment insights.
Build and maintain financial models for valuations, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
Guide research initiatives to support product development, portfolio management, and strategic investment decisions.
Collaborate with scheme managers, portfolio managers, compliance, and other departments for aligned decision-making.
Build and maintain financial models for valuations, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
Monitor macroeconomic developments and policy changes to assess potential impact on the capital market.
Represent the company at professional events and maintain relationships with regulators, stakeholders, and media.
Prepare and deliver impactful PowerPoint presentations

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 7 years

Other Specification

Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Management, or related field (CFA Charter holders preferred). Candidate with knowledge of econometrics or basic of python will be valued.
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in research, analysis, or investment management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of Nepalese capital markets, financial instruments, and regulatory environment.
Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
