Requirements

  • Completed Masters degree preferably in Business, Analytics or Statistics
  • Preferably 4+ years of experience in a fast growing startup or dynamic team in a large organization
  • Experience working with Cross functional Teams
  • Problem solving & decision making skills
  • Data-driven person who is very good with numbers, can relate and comprehend a trend in the industry
  • Strong fundamentals of MS Office and Reporting
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • SQL knowledge is essential (preferable)
  • E-commerce experience is preferred

Job Description

The key areas that will be under the scope of Head of Project, not limited to, is User Growth & User Generated Content (UGC).

  • Develop, experiment, implement and scale new growth strategies and ideas focused on User Growth, Conversion Rate, Retention, Review count growth. (Planning & Strategy)
  • A/B test new features, designs, campaigns, projects to drive and convert traffic on Daraz App and landing pages. (A/B testing will also depend on regional product team. However, experimenting to drive & convert traffic should be a focus)
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for funnel improvements and growth/UGC Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for departmental growth and work on improving the current processes.
  • Responsible for complete management of different programs to grow the projects, acquire new users on a segment level, and drive conversion.
  • Responsible for complete management of any mechanic/projects that deals with acquisition, retention, review count growth. (esp when there is no dedicated resource).
  • Collaborate with Regional teams to align on different projects for knowledge sharing.
  • Work on developing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for tech solutions that can drive key Growth KPIs.
  • Share performance management reports to highlight achievements, limitations, and focus of the department with data driven action plan.
  • Improve user experience on platform and drive product findability to improve conversion funnel.
  • Manage subsidy on a Traffic Operations level to ensure that key KPIs run rate is on track to meet monthly targets.
  • Identify and research opportunities within the global E-Commerce sphere and adapt them to local markets, projects that drives growth KPIs.
