Job Summary:

The Head of Marketing will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for the entire organization (or lines of business and brands within the organization) to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and leadership skills to manage the marketing team and collaborate with other departments to achieve the company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company’s business goals.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and trends within the lighting and electricals market.

Brand Management:

  • Strengthen the company's brand presence through creative campaigns and consistent messaging.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials.

Digital Marketing:

  • Oversee the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
  • Utilize analytics tools to measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities.

Product Marketing:

  • Plan and execute product launches and promotional campaigns.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market.

Sales Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the sales team to support their objectives with effective marketing strategies.
  • Develop sales tools and materials to assist in the selling process.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
  • Set clear objectives and KPI’s for the marketing team and track progress.

Budget Management:

  • Manage the marketing budget effectively to maximize ROI.
  • Allocate resources efficiently across various marketing initiatives.

Public Relations:

  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and industry influencers.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of press releases and other PR materials.

Event Management:

  • Plan and execute company events, trade shows, and exhibitions.
  • Ensure the company’s presence at industry events is impactful and aligns with marketing goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with a data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Experience in the lighting and electricals industry is a plus.
