Job Description

The Head of Content is responsible for overseeing the local content department and ensuring content quality control. He or she supervises, trains, coaches, and mentors content specialists.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of content uploaders and maintain content quality control
  • Upload materials to the website by agreed deadlines
  • Carry out scheduled/regular updates of existing content
  • Work with management teams locally and abroad to localize content
  • Develop detailed website upload instructions and FAQs
  • Train all new staff and/or temporary staff regarding content duties
  • Act as a contact person to troubleshoot content problems

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, software engineering, computer science
  • Strong technical, process and solution orientated skills and mindset required
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English and the local language
  • Focus on execution, efficiency and scalability
  • Solid IT background and experience with high scale content management systems
  • Familiarity with e-commerce and online shopping industry highly desired
  • Programming skills highly desired
