Global Accountant

aQysta is looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join our international team as a Global accountant. As a Global Accountant, you will be working as a bridge between country accountants and the management team of aQysta. You will be provided with a fully supportive learning environment where you can exercise your leadership skills to achieve the collective financial goal of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consolidation and analysis of financial statements of aQysta group, and providing timely monthly reporting.
• Provide necessary support and knowledge to the country accountants for the preparation of periodic financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and cashflow plans
• Ensure proper control of the company’s finances and report to the management about any leakage (zero-tolerance).
• Support the CEO/COO in the financial modeling of the aQysta group
• Support the founders in decision-making by providing analytics of financials per country and comparing plan versus actual.
• Providing in-house training and knowledge support to the country finance officers.
• Support the admin officers in project administration

Background and skills:

• Chartered Accountant/Certified Financial Analyst/BBA/MBA finance from a recognized Institution. CA running can also apply
• Must have thorough knowledge of both management accounting and financial accounting
• Must have 2-3 years of work experience in undertaking an internal audit, Corporate finance, Due Diligence, and taxation, preferably in a multi-national settings
• Language proficiency in English is a must
• Must be sharp, fast, able to meet deadlines, and manage the team
• Willingness to work with an international team as a global lead
• Able to main complete confidentiality and have strong work ethics
• Prior experience working with Odoo Accounting will have a high priority
• Prior experience in using the accounting software/system is a must
