  • The position is head office based with frequent site visit. However, s/he may be later transferred to the project site during construction stage
  • Work in team with positive contribution
  • With excellent time management skill to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Showing attention in detail and committed for high quality result with accuracy

Job Description

A hydropower company with few hydropower projects under detailed design stage is looking for young, energetic, initiative personnel for several positions for its head office located in Kathmandu valley. The company invites applications from eligible Nepalese citizens. 

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize expertise to contribute to the design and mapping of geological features relevant to hydropower structures.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of geological data to inform project decision-making and design processes.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing geological assessments, findings, and recommendations for hydropower structures.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using geological software, including AutoCAD, GIS, Phase 2, Office package, and similar tools, to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of design processes.
  • Conduct frequent site visits to gather field data and ensure alignment of geological assessments with on-site conditions.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing positively to collective goals.
  • Exhibit excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and quality of geological assessments and design work.
  • Committed to delivering high-quality results in line with project specifications.
