  • Working or educational experience with Geo-technical Engineering (8 years minimum)

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to pass a driving record check 
  • Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and terrains 
  • Work in a safe manner and obey all safety regulations     

Preffered Qualification:

  • Masters in Geo Technical Engineering/M sc-Geology 

Job Description

  • Planning, directing and conducting investigative work to analyse the likely behavior of soil and rock when placed under pressure by proposed structures, and designs above and below ground foundations
  • Performing Geo-technical site investigations and analyses
  • Assisting Engineers with producing engineering reports, plans and specifications
  • Preparation of drawings and/or provision of information to draughting staff in order for them to produce plans and drawings
  • Conduct site assessments to determine appropriate location for structures/foundations
  • Seeks guidance from on matters relating to quality of output, presentation and on any circumstances where negotiations/communications with clients are causing, or has the potential to cause, difficulties
  • Close liaison with the Regional Manager on job progress and particularly any indications that deadlines/targets might not be achieved
  • Preparing tender documents, assessing tenders and reporting to the client as required
  • Providing assistance with writing and pricing offers of services
  • Supervise and administer contracts
  • Any other tasks associated with your allocated jobs and duties as delegated by a Project Manager or Director
