Roles and responsibilities of this job

LaxmiNarayan Furniture Udhyog is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Furniture Designer with strong interior design experience to develop functional, aesthetic, and production-ready furniture designs. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, architects, and the production team to deliver customized furniture solutions for residential, commercial, and institutional projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Design furniture concepts based on client requirements, space planning, and interior themes.
Prepare detailed furniture drawings, layouts, and 3D visualizations.
Coordinate with interior designers, architects, and clients for design approvals.
Develop shop drawings and production-ready designs for manufacturing.
Select materials, finishes, hardware, and accessories suitable for design and budget.
Ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and aligned with manufacturing capabilities.
Assist in design revisions based on client feedback and site conditions.
Stay updated with furniture design trends, materials, and technologies.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Furniture Design, Architecture, or related field.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in furniture design with interior design exposure.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of furniture construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Ability to translate concepts into detailed technical drawings.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with production and sales teams.
