Role Description

We are seeking a talented full-stack developer to join The Maker Crew on a remote contract basis. As a full-stack developer, you will play a critical role in creating innovative and comprehensive web solutions. You will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, ensuring seamless integration of various components and delivering high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications.
  • Design and implement user interfaces for web applications.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and their integration with server-side logic.
  • Implement responsive web design for optimal user experiences across devices.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug both front-end and back-end issues.
  • Implement cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Be flexible and accommodating to client requests, understanding that project requirements may evolve during development.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in full-stack development and software development.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Proficiency in back-end technologies and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails).
  • Experience with databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Experience in the design and implementation of user interfaces.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
