Job Description

Essential

Good understanding of repositories and version control systems such as GIT.
Proven competency on server-side coding with Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework.
Unit testing/debugging code and fixing defects.
Proven competency building user interfaces using Vuejs or any other javascript libraries
Experience on RDBMS such as PostgreSQL or similar.
Query optimization, database normalization and design skills.
Good understanding on building developer-friendly APIs that can be consumed by multiple clients.
Brainstorm new features and shape the requirements together with the product owner and stakeholders.

Desirable

Understanding of Agile Methodology.
Good coordination among team members and ability to work in a Scrum Framework.
Knowledge of app based containers and it’s orchestration.
Full-stack Developer with exposure to AngularJS, REACT JS, REST API, Python & AWS stack for cloud development
Proficient with Vue. js and/or Python, any Python based REST framework
Proficient in modern microservice-based architectures, methodologies and in designing and implementing RESTful web services.
Accessing data across multiple datastores - SQL, NoSQL and graph databases. Experience with redis DB preferable with experience with JSON and XML
Source / Version Control System experience with Git, Mercurial, or similar
Continuous Integrations experience Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
Unit Testing, Automated Testing, and Test-Driven Development (TDD) for Python, pyunit.
Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum) Methodology
Plus to have advanced with Amazon Web Services - EC2, S3, Route 53, CloudFormation, Lambda, ECS, Cognito, SQS, SNS, etc. OR to be AWS Certified - Solutions Architect or Developer
