Role Description

This is a full-time role for a front-end developer based in our Kathmandu office. As a front-end developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, implementing responsive web design, and collaborating with the design and back-end development teams.

• Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive web applications using HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and TypeScript
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with microservice API endpoints in GraphQL and REST
• Implement unit tests for frontend code using tools like Jest to ensure reliability and maintainability
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to improve our frontend development processes continuously
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into interactive web experiences
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to uphold code quality standards
• Assist in technical documentation and contribute to basic technical writing tasks as needed
• Assist in planning and executing tests to assess the usability of a software product

Required Skills 

• Proven experience coding in TypeScript with a strong understanding of React.js
• Strong proficiency in developing HTML5-based web pages with CSS/SCSS styling
• Experience working with microservice API endpoints in both GraphQL and REST architectures
• Experience in code versioning tools, such as Git
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 2 years of React JS. development experience.
