Job Summary:

The Front Desk Officer is a key role within the Genesis Institute of Hospitality, responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support to the institute. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including student inquiries, administrative tasks, marketing and outreach activities, and general office support.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Relations:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for prospective and enrolled students.
  • Answer student inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Guide students through the enrollment process, including application submission, fee payment, and course registration.
  • Assist students with academic and administrative matters.

Administrative Support:

  • Maintain accurate student records, including enrollment details, attendance records, and academic progress.
  • Prepare and maintain necessary administrative documents, such as student files, certificates, and reports.
  • Assist with the organization and coordination of events, workshops, and seminars.

Marketing and Outreach:

  • Conduct market research and identify potential student recruitment channels.
  • Make cold calls to prospective students and generate leads.
  • Manage social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) by creating engaging content and promoting institute programs.
  • Organize and participate in study fairs and other promotional events.

General Office Support:

  • Assist other departments with administrative tasks, such as content creation, data entry, and report preparation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and courier services.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on building positive relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of social media marketing and content creation.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
